This is a classic whole leaf (TGFOP) Assam black tea. The dry leaf yields a good percentage of golden tips and has a slightly sweet malty aroma. Rather shockingly we recommend steeping this tea at 8-9 minutes, it comes out very full-bodied, smooth, rich, malty, with just the tiniest bit of a bright note.
