Ceylon Tuk-Tuk | Black Tea
Full-bodied cup with a soft touch. The subtle sweetness of ripe tropical fruits doesn’t overpower or diminish its strength. Not prone to brisk or astringent qualities. A cup to help you get up and go.
A “pekoe” leaf grade produced December 10-22, 2024 by Mr. A. Dissanayagam at the Mattakelle Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of both seedling and cultivar plants growing at 4,500 feet. The pekoe leaf grade in the high-grown areas of Sri Lanka is much smaller than the pekoe grade of southern Sri Lanka.
