Fresh impressions of subtle buttered sweetness and lime zest are painted with a florist’s brush. The light astringency in the finish is easy going and cleans up nicely. Superior quality that won’t disappoint.
Produced in the spring of 2024 by Yuki Toyomura at the Tokunoshima Seicha Tea Farm on Tokunoshima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture. The Sofu cultivar is a combination of the popular Yabukita and Inzatsu 131 cultivars, the latter of which is of the Indian Assamica variety.
