Paper Lantern | Black Tea
A simple and sentimental cup. The roast is toasty, but soft as chocolate with a warm, billowy body. An unusual black tea that feels so familiar.
The primary tea was produced April 16, 2019 by Mr. Lin Rui Fu in Anxi County, Fujian Province. It’s a one bud, three leaf pick of the Jin Guanyin cultivar growing at approximately 2,200 feet. This was the first attempt at what eventually became our Red Dawn black tea. After resting and aging for several years, the tea was roasted again in the spring of 2022. The results are one-of-a-kind.
