Genmaicha | Green Tea
Traditional Japanese tea blend of green tea and toasted rice. Hearty grain character with a subtle green tea body. An excellent all-day tea!
This tea was produced by Otsuka Green Tea Co., a family-owned tea company that was founded in 1869 in Shizuoka, Japan. It’s been owned and operated by the same family for five generations. Their tea factory is located near the Nissaka area of Shizuoka, not far from Mt. Fuji.
Ingredients: green tea, toasted rice
Steeping Instructions
3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 175°F | Steep 3 min.
Traditional Dobin Teapot
Use 15 grams of tea in 20oz of boiling water and steep for 1 minute. This will fill 5 small cups to share with a group. Check out the Blue Flower Teapot!
