Ceylon Silver Feathers | White Tea
Available in 2oz. quantities only.
Attractive young leaves and buds withered into the seldom seen Ceylon white tea. Full in body, yet the texture is soft. Moss and cedar in the cup, but a noticeably caramel-like finish. Contradictory, maybe. Charming? Absolutely.
This tea comes from the Lumbini Tea Valley in the Ruhuna region of Sri Lanka. The tea garden was started in 1975 by Mr. Dayapala Jayawardana. It is now operated by his son Chaminda. The Lumbini Tea Valley is one of the most consistent producers of top-notch Ceylon tea.
