Spring Rain Bai Mu Dan | White Tea
A welcome mat of white tea freshness. Honey-like texture, but the sweetness is subtle. Tastes of the tiny jungle that grows just above the earth’s surface – lively, grassy, but pure.
Produced by Mr. Lin Dai Min in Fuding county, Fujian. Grown at approx. 1,200 feet with one bud, three-four leaf pluck of Fuding Big Hair cultivar. Harvested on April 15, 2021 and finished on April 18, 2021.
This tea comes from the “Youth Tea Garden” built during the period of 1968-1978. This was a time when a lot of young students would come from the cities to the rural areas for economic development. They built small reservoirs there to support tea planting (an important asset) and the garden exists to this day, surrounded by a wild eco system and enough animals to require every tea picker to wear long boots and jeans.
