This cup is a slice of life. Medium-bodied with a visceral texture, the cup delivers flavors of apples and fresh shrubbery with just enough astringency to keep everything bright and spritely. Grains and unripe bananas in the finish. A truly Ceylon tea.
This peak season OP leaf grade tea was produced April 20-29, 2024 by Mr. Kirubakaran at the Loinorn Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of both cultivar and seedling plants growing at 5,200 feet.
