I've been a dedicated black tea drinker for over a decade. I prefer assams. This one is the best assam I have ever had. It's got all the depth associated with black teas, good hint of maltiness, but brings this little bit of cardamom and winter spices (very subtle, not overwhelming or "christmas-y" at all). Phenomenal tea. Cannot recommend highly enough.
